Intellectual Property Policy Details

1. Protection of Client Intellectual Property
  • All designs, formulas, packaging concepts, and branding provided by the client remain their exclusive property.
  • We guarantee confidentiality and will not share or use client IP without explicit written consent.
2. Protection of Silkway Cosmetic Intellectual Property
  • Any proprietary formulas, processes, or designs developed by Silkway Cosmetic are protected under copyright and trademark laws.
  • Unauthorized use, replication, or distribution of Silkway Cosmetic IP is strictly prohibited.
3. Joint Intellectual Property Development
  • For projects involving co-development (e.g., product formulations), ownership rights will be clearly outlined in the contractual agreement.
4. Use of Licensed Materials
  • Any third-party materials or technologies used in product development will be licensed legally, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and avoiding infringement claims.
5. Confidentiality Agreements
  • Both parties will sign confidentiality agreements (NDAs) to safeguard sensitive information exchanged during the project.
6. Trademark & Branding Protection
  • Clients are encouraged to register their trademarks to ensure exclusive rights to their branding.
  • Silkway Cosmetic will not use client trademarks or branding for any purpose other than fulfilling contracted agreements.

Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all materials provided (logos, designs, etc.) are free of infringement claims.
  • Provide clear instructions regarding the use of their IP in contracted projects.

    • Governing trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and trade secrets.
  2. EU Intellectual Property Laws:
    • Ensuring compliance for clients targeting European markets.
